Bruce Lacey : My Life in Therapy

A journey through the bizarre world of Bruce Lacey showing his continual metamorphosis in the quest to discover himself, and his use of art as self-therapy. Born in 1927, he has always had a compulsive desire to perform and create things that reflect the emotional and passionate experiences of life. He also makes films such as ‘The Lacey Rituals’ which portrays everyday life within the family, and performances including attempting to fly from Hampstead Heath to Timbuktu in a flapping wing ornithopter. An artist of great diversity, how can one sum him up? To label him would be to limit him – he is Bruce Lacey unlimited.

Dates
4 July – 4 August

Zory: Waves
